Yorkshire Dance and partners are running an online celebration of children and young people’s dance across Yorkshire in spring 2021, RE:FRESH.
They are looking for dance groups, primary and secondary schools, colleges and individuals to get involved with the opportunity to showcase their digital screendances or dance pieces, from existing work to new creations.
This opportunity is open to all children and young people across the Yorkshire region and beyond. Participants can be aged up to 19 years old, or up to 25 for dancers with a disability.
Alongside work by children and young people, RE:FRESH will feature online workshops, Q&A’s and professional dance piece screenings.
RE:FRESH is a regional dance platform led by Yorkshire Dance in partnership with: CAPA College; Dance Action Zone Leeds; Dance United Yorkshire; Hull City Council; Kala Sangam; Leeds City College; Northern School of Contemporary Dance; One Dance UK; Phoenix Dance Theatre; RJC Dance; and Yorkshire Schools Dance Festival. RE:FRESH is presented in association with: Children and Young People’s Dance Network North; Horizon Community College; Hull Dance; The South Bank Dance Hub; and Union of Dance.
