Northern Ballet’s Pinocchio – Children’s Ballet Workshop
Led by: Keisha Hamilton, Dance Education Officer, Northern Ballet
Join Northern Ballet for a fun and creative dance workshop, inspired by our new children’s ballet, Pinocchio. Explore the characters, music and movements, and find out all about Pinocchio’s adventures, from wooden-puppet to becoming a real boy!
Please note children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the session, who will join in too.
Clothing Guidance: Please wear loose, comfortable clothes. Leggings, shorts, or jogging pants are preferable, skirts are not suitable. No outdoor shoes or socks. Bare feet are permitted in the studio. If wearing footwear please bring clean, soft shoes, or trainers, which have not been worn outside previously.
Level: Suitable for all abilities
Age range: 4 – 6 years plus a parent or guardian
Studio 7 – Level 5, Northern Ballet
Important information
Each ticket admits one adult and one child – strictly one adult to one child.
Latecomers will not be permitted
Photos/videos are not permitted
No changing rooms are available, so please come ready to dance
All participants and observers over the age of 11 are asked to wear face masks both during sessions and when moving around the building
Lift access is available but only for those with access needs
If the advance booking is sold out, please do turn up on the day as walk-up spaces will be available.
