Leeds School of Arts, Leeds Beckett University

Home to an ever-growing community of internationally renowned practitioners and researchers, the Leeds School of Arts at Leeds Beckett University brings together diverse but related disciplines in a creative and collaborative environment, which includes performing arts.

The school offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, all designed and taught by professionals in their specialist areas. Performing arts students have access to a range of inspiring spaces and specialist studios on campus, as well as access to facilities with organisations like Northern Ballet and Yorkshire Dance.

There are also opportunities to study abroad and many students have performed at festivals in Croatia, Romania, Italy and Spain. Closer to home students have taken part in events such as the Edinburgh Festival, Latitude Festival and Leeds Light Night.

Supporting the University’s commitment to the creative industries and the city of Leeds, a new state-of-the-art Creative Arts Building is due to open in September 2020.
