Award-winning choreographer Seeta Patel reimagines the iconic ballet The Rite of Spring in the powerful Indian dance style, Bharatanatyam.
Performed to Igor Stravinsky’s avant-garde score, rediscover this pagan folk story through intricate rhythmic footwork, expressive movement and geometric patterns, delivered by world-class performers.
Set to be one of the most exciting flirtations between East and West, this performance will showcase some of the finest Indian classical dance talent in an exciting bridge between two powerful and evocative art forms.
The performance will be opened by a curtain raiser from South Asian Arts-uk.
